The Sehome Arboretum is a vast wooded reserve consisting of 165 acres. There are no picnic or restroom facilities, no playgrounds or swimming holes, however it does offer some of the most beautiful hiking and nature spotting locals throughout the city. Pack a small snack, your water bottle and put on your hiking shoes, Sehome Arboretum offers a unique way for everybody of all ages to get back to nature. Deer, squirrals, birds and several other animals call this area home; do beware that cougars have been spotted on a rare occasion so check the signs posted in the opening for warnings.
