Bloedel Donovan Park Bellingham

Bloedel Donovan Park is located at the top of Alabama Hill off of Electric Avenue. Situated on the west end of Lake Whatcom, Bloedel Donovan is one of Bellingham’s hot spots all year round. Looking for a place for the kids and family to swim on a hot summer day, Bloedel Donovan has a roped area for recreational swimming. Get there early, this place fills up quickly.

Bloedel Donovan is also one of the only parks left in the city that allows dogs to roam off-leash, with owner supervisation of course. Features also include a playground, picnic facilities, a soccer field, basketball court and public boat launch. During summer months, Bloedel also hosts many child activities arranged through the Parks and Recreation Department.
